CHRISTIAN AID QUIZ—Sunday 29 January starting at 7.30 pm.  It will be held in the Methodist Church hall, Wimborne.  Teams of 4 can be made up on the night and there are prizes to be won.  Entry is free but donations to Christian Aid are invited.  All are welcome—come along and join the fun!  Let’s have some more teams from St Catherine’s this year!

 
     
  WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER COFFEE MORNING—is at St Catherine’s Hall from 10.00 am—12 noon on Friday 3 February. All are very welcome. Please note that the Women’s World Day of Prayer service will be at 10.30 am on Friday 2 March at Canford Church.  
     
  SVP—A coffee morning will be held on Friday 3 February at 10, Stroud Close, Colehill from 9.00 am—11.30 am.  All who would like to find out more, or just support us, are welcome.  Come when you can.  For more details phone Ann on 849775

  FATHER COLLINS’ 80th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS—12 February 2012—St Anthony’s, Broadstone is organizing a collection for Father Collins’ 80th birthday present.  Those of you who would like to contribute to the collection are asked to contact Philomena who is at the Church office on Wednesday and Fridays, tel: 01202 693336.  
     
  ANNUAL CHRISTIAN AID BARN DANCE—Friday, 10 February 7.00 pm—11.00 pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, 211a Wimborne Road, Poole, BH15 2EG. Ploughman’s supper provided, bring your own alcoholic drinks. Adults £8, children 12—15 years £4, under 12 years £2. Half term animation workshop—Friday 17 February 10.00 am—3.00 pm.

  Fairtrade Fortnight Celebratory Evening will be held on Friday 2 March at Allenbourn Middle School, East Borough, 6.30—8.30 pm. Harriet Lamb CBE, Director of the Fairtrade Foundation, will speak.  
     
 

NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH CONGRESS 2012—FLAME at Wembley Arena Saturday 24 March 2012.  Ages—year 10 to young adult.  This event builds on the Pope’s visit and anticipates the Olympics.  There will be inspiring witness from Olympians, Paraolympians and international speakers.  More details later.
