The concept of need is broadly based, so visiting the sick, the lonely, the addicted and those suffering from disabilities form a large proportion of the Society's work." | |
Many of our activities revolve around care for our elderly, sick and housebound parishioners, Many of these special parishioners can no longer get to Church, or sit comfortably for the duration of the Mass. We do our best to ensure they are visited and kept abreast of the news in our parish. We arrange transport for these special people when they come to Church. The Group at St Catherine's meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:00pm in the church hall . We organise social and fundraising events and at Christmas, we distribute gifts.
